The Burning of Los Angeles (2017)

Made with generous funding from The Mike Kelly Foundation, this 16mm film was made with in-camera double exposures and optical printing techniques. Based on the description of a painting in Nathanael West’s 1939 novel “The Day of the Locusts”.
